We have the power to change ourselves, change the world. The status quo is a prison not in reality, but in your mind. Although it seems to weigh a ton and is protected by the frightening ghosts of tradition and your own past, you can conquer it! You can move beyond its grasp and claim the promises you are making to yourself right this moment. You can see the world changed. You can see yourself changed.If you could promise yourself anything, what would it be? What kind of person would you be? What accomplishments would you have? Where would you go? Who would you meet?You see, everything enters the realm of possibility when you release the power of the status quo. Break its chains! Escape its gravity! Your dreams - see them, hear them, taste them, feel them, smell them -BE YOUR DREAMS!"Rome," as they say, "was not built in a day." Your life may not change in a single day either. That's OK. St. Francis reminds us that we have tomorrow and we can "begin the task anew". Your fears and your faults may accompany you on the entire journey. In fact, your fears and doubts may grow stronger as you approach your goal. Too many myths and stories of heroes to name remind us that this is part of the journey. Expect them to flare up and try to distract you. When they do your dreams are very near.The staus quo is no match for you, if only you have the courage to challenge it and exceed it.Be peaceful Be prosperous!Ray
